Many shade loving plants have beautiful leaves, others such as Hosta have attractive flowers too.

In our main shade polytunnel we grow many shade loving hardy plants.

With at least 20 varieties and species of hardy ferns in production, this ever increasingly popular group of plants is one of our many strengths.

Pachysandra, Vinca, Sarcococca and of course many new and exciting varieties of Hellebores are grown in the shady part of our production area.

Taller plants such as Mahonia, Fatsia and Japanese maples do well under the special light filtering polythene covers.
