Our Box Tree Cafe may be small but here you will find delicious snacks, locally produced food, friendly staff and a delightful place to relax and meet friends!
The Box Tree Cafe has picked up many amazing accolades! We have many rave reviews but were particularly delighted by this one –
The Daily Telegraph [Saturday 25th 2014] has placed the Box Tree Cafe at Cleeve Nursery amongst it’s Top 25 Gourmet Garden Centres in Britain!
The paper says “This small but perfectly formed nursery boasts a matching cafe, offering a creative specials board and delicious home-made soups, toasted paninis and more. A wood burner and comfy sofa add to the positive vibes”
Menu – There are all the old favourites [hot and cold food] but many new refreshments with a distinct emphasis on locally sourced and locally produced food. Home made soups are especially popular.
Most of the food is prepared on site but, because our kitchen is small, some cakes, quiches and scones are supplied by very local producers. In fact nearby Brockley Stores supplies us with many delicious items from their own kitchen. Brockley Stores [about 1/2 mile away] is also a great place to visit for locally produced food to take home!
We serve superb locally roasted coffee supplied by Bristol based Brian Wogan Coffee.
Why not pop in for a snack and a drink?
In winter snuggle up close to our log burning stove which is in the heart of our cafe?
