Burgon and Ball
Burgon & Ball began manufacturing in 1730, in Sheffield, producing sheep shears. Today they are the largest manufacturer of sheep shears in the world, and are also at the leading edge of garden tool and accessory innovation & design – in recent years launching some of the best received new products in the industry.
With block pavers being such a popular hard surface a strong brush was needed to remove algae and moss without changing the colour of the surface. A long handled brush was the answer.
Its galvanised spring-steel bristles gently clean the surface of the paving, while tough but flexible polypropylene bristles gather all the loose leaves and debris removed by the wire. Wooden heads and handles are FSC certified.
Orginally made to cut the fleece from the back of sheep, these hand shears have found a new and indespensible role in gardens.
Comfortable to use, sharp edged and versatile the Burgon and Ball Shear is the best.
Available in a variety of sizes these shears can be used to shape and trim topiary, do a bit of dead-heading of flowers or cut the edge of the lawn.
Shears are a popular gift for the keen gardener.
